Just did a bunch of stretches recommended for swimmer's shoulder and am feeling better. Good and bad. Good: hurts less. Bad: I need to adjust my stroke cause clearly I have been doing something wrong this weekend. Pretty sure I know what caused the change in stroke, same thing that causes me to have shinsplints and be super clumsy around now.

I bought comics. I drew porn. I socialised abortively. I'm going to call that a win and go into a holding pattern until my ER visit in the wee hours.
I walked 10.5 miles today. I alo helped DH do a pre camping test on the new tent and cots
We just had fireworks in the backyard, courtesy of the neighbors. They were fantastic, but Sara slept through the whole thing, poor noodle.
The neighbors have a loud mariachi band, and the singer is singing through a very distorted speaker. Guess which one is most irking the people in my house right now.
I awaiting CJ's return from seeing The Guess Who and watching fireworks. Tomorrow he is working the local fireworks event - either directing traffic or guarding the fireworks.
Noodle is still in hiding. I pulled her out earlier and she snuggled for a while but then slunk off under the bed. K-Bug hasn't been able to charm her out since. Hopefully she will be more social in the morning. Miss Kitty doesn't seem to notice/care that there is another cat's scent in the apartment.
Aww, poor Noodle. She's recovering from a spay too, right? Don't worry, she'll come around. She just needs a little time.
Had a lovely evening with friends, even if my children were devilish (which I am sure is my fault). ita, I'm sorry that they made your head worse. It occurs to me that I SUCK at getting them to be quieter.
We used every plate in the house!
I'm really glad I washed the window screens.
Tomorrow will be yoga, then moving the crib and the high chair and the kitchen table into the dining room.
I have Noah's 4th song trapped in my head. Sing it with me (to the tune of Row Row Row Your Boat)
Snap Crackle Whistle Pop
Fireworks in the sky.
See them light up the night
On the 4th of July
Red, Blue, Green and Gold
The fireworks blah blah say
Happy Birthday, America;
It's Independence Day!
Sigh.
Tomorrow he is working the local fireworks event - either directing traffic or guarding the fireworks.
Career possibilties for CJ: Police, Firefighter, EMT...
He does seem to be trending that way.
He has wanted to be a fireman since he knew it was a job. That may change as he goes through more ARP training. In the fall he can take an EMT course - same as the training EMTs go through, but since the ARP members are under 18, they can't be officially certified. Still, great training to have.
