The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Votex, your optimal schedule is mine, as well.

Yeah, it's pretty close to mine. Which sometimes leads to problems, as Pete would like to be a morning person. Plus there's that whole having to re-learn a daywalker schedule when I start job hunting again.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Ack scary tree!

My two best jobs were when I was working swing shift at the factory 10-7, and when I was working dinner theater hours 5-1. That one was great.

Thank god it didn't fall on you Amy!! Did it damage any of your yard?

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Ack scary tree!

I KNOW!!

It possibly killed our AC, and did some lesser damage to a gutter and the fence. No structural damage to the house (thank DOG) and everything else in the yard looks like just a lot of cleanup.

Sigh. We're going out of town tomorrow. It would be nice to deal with the umpty-million things on that list right now, rather than this.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Jeebeus, Amych, that's terrifying.

I'm at my almost optimal sleep schedule -- 9:00 PM to about 6:00 AM. A nice 9 hours! And an afternoon nap if I can swing it.

I went to Ikea and bought another dining chair so I can get rid of the high chair now. And the crib.

No commentary on Charlene Whitstock? I think she looked beautiful. [link]

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Yes, she did. Apparently, she considered calling off the wedding after news of a the prince's third illegitimate child surfaced.

I loved the jeweled thing in her hair.

Art Crawl!!!

Wow. Amych - that is totally scary.

I slept fitfully - woke up at 4 am with a cat eager for me to actually get up right by my side. Did not do that. Got up 7:30ish, fed said cat, made breakfast - settled in to watch the tennis. Post men's final? Feeling rather off - I went for a lie down and just got up.

Before I napped I unexpectedly found my cat lounging in the bathtub. It's not even that hot today!

Because books.

Oh, she did look pretty!

That tree falling really is scary -- something similar happened to my brother and my nephew when they were camping a few years ago, and it caught my nephew's foot. He wound up having three or four surgeries, and he's always going to have a limp now.

As amych said on FB, trees should definitely stay vertical, or at least WARN when they're coming down.

I find that wedding depressing, Kat--doesn't seem much like a love match, what with the age difference and the crazy rumors of new undiscovered children, etc etc
