Re: Grace's nurse. Same dude. When he has to come in at 12:00 PM, it's fine. But earlier never works. I'm just so tired.
Next week she'll be in school again for 6 weeks so it will be back to the usual schedule.

Good lord. Marble sized hail coming down.
Whereas I've just had high winds, but no precip at all here in the NW 'burbs.
I am being lazy and not cleaning my bathroom tonight like I had planned. I did replace the litter box and the bath mat, though, so I swept that part of the bathroom before putting the new ones in place.
I went dress shopping for my brother's wedding in August. ChiKat had recommended Dress Barn, and my mom told me to shop now and not wait until early August if I wanted to find anything. I got this dress and shrug--the dress was $30, the shrug was $40.
I hate the fact that my calves are still massive. The last time I was this small, I had really shapely ones. I'm hoping that I'll get decent calves again, someday.
Wow, Kathy, you look fantastic.
Looking good, Kathy.

On radar, the storm was almost entirely over lake Michigan, heading South. So just some parts of Chicago near the lake got the storm.
We got a lot of thunder here. My cat looked at me with concern. I told her, "Your ancestors dealt with thunder way before you cats started hanging with us humans."
Kathy, you look great. Cute dress and shrug.
Kathy, you look fantastic!
Thanks! I'm obsessing about my calves too much.
I have no idea where Amarna is at. AFAIK, she hasn't used her new litter box yet. She's had no problem with replacement litter pans, but this is the first time I've gotten her an entirely new box and lid and it's a completely different design than the old one. Don't know how she'll handle it.
Oh, the dress and shrug are both size 22/24. I'm wearing 22 pants now, but the cotton pants are reeeeeaallllly snug, so I'll stick with the jeans that are more forgiving in 22, and the other pants in 24 for another 10 pounds or so. I'm debating if I should exchange the shrug for the 18/20, since it's the open-weave crochet knit style. I won't be needing it for another 7 weeks, and I'm hoping I'll be down 20 pounds by then, which is another size. I hate spending $70 for things I'll only wear once, but I figure if I get the smaller shrug, I might want to wear that in the fall, too.
