Hey, don't worry about it. Nest full of vampires, you come get me, okay. Box full of puppies, that's more of a judgement call.

Erin, it's a Johns Hopkins program you test into. Grades 2-11, I think.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

OK, cool summer program! I was thinking maybe a literacy or writing workshop.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Jilli, is Clovis franchising? I ask because I saw a flier on a utility box for the Mysterious Rabbit Puppet Army. The rabbit looked more piratical than vampiric.

Ha! If Clovis has gotten a franchise empire going, he hasn't told me.

The status is NOT quo.

I taught a CTY online class one summer. The pay was crap, but the program was good. I think I'd enjoy one of the local f2f programs more.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I went to CTY as a kid, and worked there for two summers. It's a great program -- I'm planning to apply to teach there again next summer.

I taught in CTYs writing program during the school year for a number of years. Still have friends there.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm currently trying to convince my coworkers to go to the new MS Office training today, but I'm afraid none of them will go, and I'll end up being tech support for the whole department, which is NOT ON. My last job upgraded to the terrible Office years ago, and I remember how impossible it was to figure out. The problem is, of our department of ten people, we have:
one vacant position
one short-timer
one about to go on maternity leave
one currently on paternity leave
one on vacation
one part-time who would never go to a computer training

So that doesn't leave many of us to go.... Oy.

this is a good plan!

plus, apparently, a haircut at 2. thank you google calendar.

I'm thinking of walking there - which isn't the best use of my time, but biking on this particular road is nuts. Procrastinating? me?
