I'm currently trying to convince my coworkers to go to the new MS Office training today, but I'm afraid none of them will go, and I'll end up being tech support for the whole department, which is NOT ON. My last job upgraded to the terrible Office years ago, and I remember how impossible it was to figure out. The problem is, of our department of ten people, we have:
one vacant position
one short-timer
one about to go on maternity leave
one currently on paternity leave
one on vacation
one part-time who would never go to a computer training
So that doesn't leave many of us to go.... Oy.
Sleep in, eat ice cream from the container, and read all day long.
this is a good plan!
plus, apparently, a haircut at 2. thank you google calendar.
I'm thinking of walking there - which isn't the best use of my time, but biking on this particular road is nuts. Procrastinating? me?
GOT THE NEW PARTTIME JOB!!!!!! Same pay half the commute and seemingly organized and non-crazy bosses!
All I've got left to do to clean my apartment is my bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen. I did a massive cleaning of my hallway closets last night, as well as a meticulous vacumning of everything except for the bedroom. I even pulled out my edging tool and vacumned all along the sides of the living room, dining room, and hallway. I dusted the top of my ceiling fan!
Tonight: the bedroom. Plan of attack: take everything off of the drawers and bedside table, put on bed. Take everything off of the floor that doesn't belong there, put on bed. Clean out drawers in bedside table, put on bed. Take everything off of shelf in closet, put on bed. Dust and vacumn completely. Clean off bookshelf, dust, put all purged books on bed. Clean out rolling miscellaneous shelving unit. Then, attack the bed, now piled high with stuff. After adding more stuff to Goodwill stack in the dining room and taking bags down to the dumpster, I will strip and remake the bed. Ta-da! A perfectly clean bedroom, five hours later.
