Oh yeah. CTY. I get brochures for them. The offer is do to anything she needs done. Sounds like her office person is a tool. But even if she needs a bottle of wine, I can help there too.

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Man, I'd love to hook the two of you up one of these days. I'll send her your email anyway. She's our kinda people. She co-taught with one of my favorite dorm-mates for years at NC S&M. Still blows my mind that she knows B.
CTY! I went there! It was my first taste of a) California and b) concentrated nerd-dom.
looks around
Yep.
What is CTY, if it's okay to ask, and isn't too much personal info?
Erin, it's a Johns Hopkins program you test into. Grades 2-11, I think.
OK, cool summer program! I was thinking maybe a literacy or writing workshop.
Jilli, is Clovis franchising? I ask because I saw a flier on a utility box for the Mysterious Rabbit Puppet Army. The rabbit looked more piratical than vampiric.
Ha! If Clovis has gotten a franchise empire going, he hasn't told me.
I taught a CTY online class one summer. The pay was crap, but the program was good. I think I'd enjoy one of the local f2f programs more.
I went to CTY as a kid, and worked there for two summers. It's a great program -- I'm planning to apply to teach there again next summer.
I taught in CTYs writing program during the school year for a number of years. Still have friends there.
