That was when I took a good look at my behavior and the sad, sad fact that my mind was saying "don't do it" AS I was stuffing the junk in my mouth. But, I couldn't seem to stop myself.
That is me and cigarettes, not to derail. It didn't used to be, really. And damn, do I hate to admit it. I have got to quit for good. Ever since they added the chemical to the paper to make them go out if you don't keep smoking them, even my beloved Capris don't taste good, they make me tired and slightly nauseated, and I'm pretty sure that there's a link between smoking a lot and the migraines I've been getting.
Sorry, it's been a lot on my mind lately. First step is admitting, yada.
More randomness from me: I just read that Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz got married today.
I just read that too, sumi! HOW SNEAKY OF THEM. (So, Rachel Weisz as next Bond girl, Y/Y?)
Yes - I read it in a tweet from a tv critic.
River otters are making a comeback in Pennsylvania!
Awesome! Otters is awesome.
ETA: "How much did you drink?" All of it.
I had to answer this once. Hungover after an office-ish party. We all called cabs to get home but I was so sick the next day. DxH asked how much champagne I had. "All of it?"
I think I'm going to make a no-tortilla-chips-without-salsa rule, because it will enforce boundaries, even if it's only that I'd be forced to get up and go get another small bowl of salsa.
I can stop anytime I want. Really!
I am such a morning person. I would also like to state publicly that staying with smonster is awesome - she has everything I need even though she only moved here 2 weeks ago.
Also, we are going to have lunch with Nora and Tom today and actually have a conversation (they were too busy at the event the other night). And I think i just decided to slope off my conference this afternoon and go to museums instead. And I ran into an old coworker who has an extra ticket for a conference cruise this evening. Yay New Orelans!
I am going to finish getting dressed and go do yardwork. Yes. Soon. By 9. That's a reasonable hour, right?
Totally reasonable!
I woke up early so I could work on my take-home final, which is due in 4 hours and 24 minutes. It's only three questions and a total of 2000 words, but it involves citations. Blah.
At least I'll be done for the summer after I email it.
