Yes, there is. There's a hurry, Xander. I'm dying...I may have as few as fifty years left.

I've come to the conclusion that I exhibit all the alcoholic tendencies of my kin (all of my kin), only with unfermented grains.

I take that cookie or those corn chips and the next thing I know, I wake up in the alley with a baguette.

Shameful.

Now, I'm just avoiding them all. It's the only way.

I had a chocolate fauxshake and an empanada.

It's finally cool and dry enough to air out the house. After a few days it just starts to smell close.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I am in my own house, which is kind of a relief.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I had a cup of tomato soup and some popcorn that smonster gave away before she left. Both were yummy.

I made a potato-ham-and-cheese casserole for my father and grandmother for dinner, which was well received along with some sort of glazed carrots. Delish.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

I take that cookie or those corn chips and the next thing I know, I wake up in the alley with a baguette.

I sympathize so, so much with this, bonny.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I made an asian noodle salad for dinner. dressing was ginger, soy sauce, siracha, toasted sesame oil, and peanut oil. I tossed the noodles in it, then added tomatoes, cucumber, shrimp, and cilantro. Tasty.

Because books.

We had homemade pizza, which could have been better, honestly. Now I need ice cream.

Bless your heart.

I just wish I could always and forever remember that I need to just leave that stuff alone. But I slip...and then have to fight so hard to get back to balance.

It feels pretty good though.
