"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Have fun, Matt! Which hotel is it? I'm memfaulting on the big one at the top of the hill; starts with a C?

It's the Crescent, the 19th century castle-like one on the hilltop with the ghost tours and such.

I don't think it's Pride weekend there; the only events I saw on their calendar were downtown historical tours and the weekly concert in Basin Park. But in general the place is the gayest town in Arkansas.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

YAY new york

YAY Javachik! We shall have to throw you a homeownerwarming party soon.

Oof, today was Hella long. I left home a couple minutes after 7 and just got home about 10 minutes ago.

Totally worth it though, because I got to see shrift and -t and Consuela, and hopefully there will not be hangovers in the morning.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Crescent, dur!

Have fun... heh. My group of girlfriends goes off on a trip every year for a girls-only weekend, and one trip to ES coincided with Lesbian Fest. It wasn't Pride, because it was all girls!

The irony was that our one bi friend couldn't make it that year, and she was SO PISSED when we told her about all the cute girls around all weekend!

Of course the assumption was made that our group of girls were there for the hot girl fun...which we were but not in a sexy way.

That was a fun weekend! A bar drunkenly and cheerfully declared our table to be the "token straights" and keep sending beautiful girls over with drinks to "convert" us (my friends are sassy and cute).

One stunning pixie-haired girl approached on my friend N, since she is very pretty, and looks as sweet and innocent as the day is long. (She's NOT. AT ALL.) Pixie was all "I'll buy your whole table a around of drinks if you'll kiss me," thinking Nikki would die from blushing first.

Woman, you know not what you have done. One does not have a friendship with our bi friend S without having some F/F tongue action at parties over the years.

Nikki kinda of played it up and was all shy, and looked like she would peck her fearfully on the cheek...grabbed her, bent her back, and Frenched the life outta her. It was all in good fun, and we ended up partying with those girls for the rest of the night.

We got our drinks. And we had a really fun weekend.

Hah, sounds like lots of fun, Erin! (...where is Lesbian Fest, I wanna go!)

BEST PRIDE WEEKEND EVER

This. They announced it on the loudspeaker when it happened, at the bar I was at. Woo! And my brother in law texted me and said I would need to find a girl, make a roadtrip, and he would provide the Jay-Z and Alicia Keys.

Just saw a robin divebombing a squirrel. Wonder what that was about. One pissed robin.

OK, time to market solo.

On the wires where there are no nests nearby? I mean, I guess there could be one, but...

Market haul: cherries, strawberries, APRICOTS, spinach, empanadas, pickling cukes and lisah and Bob & friend B! OK, I didn't bring the last 3 home... Love running into them at the market, especially since I was solo-ing it.

Off to attend to toes.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Woo hoo, NY!

Woo hoo to javachik!

I got up early (for me) this morning and walked flea to the bus stop. I may go back to bed now that I've had breakfast, b/c I have a headache (not a hangover, swears).

eta hmm, I should attend to my toes, too.

Timelies all!
