I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Yep. Onerous task Wednesday FTW!

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Read about an hour of my book but did not finish. I realize now this must seem not onerous at all, being unemployed and having books to read, but last year I started a "great books" program, thinking I needed to be productive, and it was way harder to sit down and read the books than I figured. I've finished only half a dozen or so in over a year. Sigh.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Rats, my onerous task just got more onerous. I might need to consult a lawyer - just to figure out how to fill out some forms correctly, nothing really bad. I think. But I'm certainly not doing that before lunch.

But the recycling bin is full, so that's something.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Speaking of recycling, why do people walk past the recycling bins to throw recyclables away?

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

I think I'd have to go with my standard "People are stupid" response on that one.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Okay, Liese, you have to watch Top Gear US. They are running shine and sitting around a campfire. "Think it's flammable?" is asked by someone not!Tanner and Tanner just no hesitation answers, "Yes." and starts to unscrew the lid . At which point I paused to type this. I think I have a little Tanner crush.

It's not the original but it's funny.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Because the recycling bins are where they throw their trash!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Someone intermittently puts a box with lots of empty pop bottles in it by the garbage, having walked past the plastics recyclables to get there. The first time I saw it I moved them, but then I touched something icky and stopped.

Still! If it's your refuse, dispose responsibly.

Because the recycling bins are where they throw their trash!

Don't upset me!

Stupidity.

Okay, the guys are spitting moonshine on a fire. Hearts, I have hearts for them.
