Today has been fairly neutral for me too. I've been doing admin tasks like session receipts and such, which is good.
While I was wondering how I'm going to make up for the two clients who had left my schedule in the past week, I got an email from a long-time ritual class client who needs some year-end help. (She used the term exorcism...ugh) So, that'll help to a great degree. Also, every single time I've worked with her awesome things have happened in her life. I could use a win right about now, so yay for both of us.
I've sent two messages to the angry mom about slayeroshadow's recommendations and local karate classes that might really help the little guy with adhd. Not a peep.
I think she needs to be angry with me. Not unexpected but could be tedious given how often I see her on the street.
Funny how warning people that they WILL be angry with me at some point and that it's a great thing (because working out with me will really help elsewhere) just never gets remembered when it actually happens.
Le sigh.
Here at work - the internet is up but everything else is down. No uni email, or accounting files, or blackboard. (The latter particularly annoying for students - today is the first day of finals.)
Lovely, it's obvious the rest of the company is on a holiday footing. We've got people wandering around filming some sort of gag reel that involves running around our cubicles pretending to be investigative reporters. It's not like the folks in the cubicles are actually doing work. But the folks in the Big Building often overlook us.
I have onerous tasks and little energy to do them as well. Seems to be going around. PLUS I have this absurd degree of resentment towards everyone! It's horrid.

Oooh, reminder:
Onerous Task Day is this Wednesday, Dec. 8th.
For those who want to play.
Conincidently, that is the date of my work holiday party at the oh-so-tasty farmer brown.
I'm pretty sure my expense report receipts will still be sitting here then...
Ohhh, I'm already lined up for Onerous Task day. I finally called today about getting an oil change along with switching out my tires. My appt is Wednesday. I have put this off WAY too long.
Randomly: ita, you should come to Seattle soon--they're opening up a montreal bagel place a few blocks from me. You should check it out and judge.
Good on ya, Suzi.
In other tales of personal virtue: I have just eaten a portion of fruit. (Fuji apple)
I encourage you to all go out and eat some vegetable matter.
