Dawn: I think a date should be in a real fancy restaurant, then champagne at a night club with a floor show, then ballroom dancing. Joyce: Unfortunately, we're not dating in a movie from the thirties.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Awwww Liese, that is wonderful.

Allyson, I think Cass and Jilli have all the clicky lighters. I bet they would be willing to help.

Because books.

I have to confess, my day has been fine.

Could be the pantslessness.

My day has been neutral, aside from the omg!cold and the snow flurries, but I didn't have an IV and I'm not sick and the cats are not, as far as I know, about to puke, so I'm calling it a win.

I also have Candy Candy Joe-Joes. Probably not for long at the rate I'm going, though.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Like Allyson, I have horrible tasks to complete and no energy. Partly because the tasks are not only horrible but stupid. I actually just told my boss, out loud, that the thing she was asking me to do was redundant and stupid. She told me to stop arguing and just do it. I would like someone to light a fire under my manager's butt.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Candy Candy Joe-Joes.

I love this typo and wish such a Joe-Joe existed.

Because books.

Yikes. Well, we all know where my head is. MOAR CANDY.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

AND I just did one stupid task I should have done on Friday!

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Thanks ita and Jesse. I was hoping that's what the answer would be.

Compassionately intolerant

Today has been fairly neutral for me too. I've been doing admin tasks like session receipts and such, which is good.

While I was wondering how I'm going to make up for the two clients who had left my schedule in the past week, I got an email from a long-time ritual class client who needs some year-end help. (She used the term exorcism...ugh) So, that'll help to a great degree. Also, every single time I've worked with her awesome things have happened in her life. I could use a win right about now, so yay for both of us.

I've sent two messages to the angry mom about slayeroshadow's recommendations and local karate classes that might really help the little guy with adhd. Not a peep.

I think she needs to be angry with me. Not unexpected but could be tedious given how often I see her on the street.

Funny how warning people that they WILL be angry with me at some point and that it's a great thing (because working out with me will really help elsewhere) just never gets remembered when it actually happens.

Le sigh.

Art Crawl!!!

Here at work - the internet is up but everything else is down. No uni email, or accounting files, or blackboard. (The latter particularly annoying for students - today is the first day of finals.)
