OK, y'all, I have to write my self-evaluation and need HELP!!
I am trying to say that "you better give me a promotion or I am OUT OF HERE", while saying "I did more work than I had to every month except this one when I'm taking 2 weeks vacation, and rocked my project, and while the audit DID find some stuff at the one site, that's because it's a HUGEASS site, and I did my best, and the big stuff I'd already done what I could, and since then I've been kicking their ass to fix the rest". And "my project is ending in two months after a year and a half on it, so when I get a new project it better be a promotion and awesomeness".
But I also need to list "strengths" with comments and examples. (My weakness I listed was sending things to the files. Which is my big task for today because they're LATE).
As if on cue, Kelly just called to ask me what I want from TJ's. I may have to go through the lists above to broaden my usual requests.
I have to write my self-evaluation too, and boy do I hate this process. "My work has been as awesome as ever, except for that mistake I made last spring, and then when I did it again, but hey, I told you I wouldn't be good at that particular thing and you made me do it anyway, so isn't it really your fault too? Let's just move past this and concentrate on how awesome I've been lately."
"Zenkitty -- now with 20% more awesome!"
Today is not starting out well. Ho hum.
Did you spend 3 hours in urgent care, including an hour with an antibiotic IV drip?
Or was that just me?
(I'm fine, though I have a teensy infection going from the port surgery)
Yikes, Perkins! I hope the antibiotics take care of that!
Wind chill is 6 degrees. Do I want to go to the library? No. No, I do not. Perhaps I will wait until tomorrow, when it's supposed to be a high of 25, with, I assume a wind chill in at least the damn double digits.
t edit
I posted that before Perkins posted, and on the whole, I think I'd take the damn 6-degree wind chill over 3 hours in the ER with an IV. Yikes! No infections, Perkins!
Sassafras is on her way back to the vet. Her daycare called and said she was lying in the corner drooling. Poor pup. My poor DH is taking her in because he's closer and can get her there faster, but if she needs surgery she'll have to go to the other animal hospital.
Oh no!! Many vibes for Sass's well-being. I'll be on tinder hooks until we get the update that she's totally okay (which is what I am voting for.)

TJ's curried tuna in the boil pouch is made of awesome. Lot's of protein and robust flavor.
I, too, love their maple syrup, plus the shrimp fried rice, meatless meatballs, Greek yogurt and broccoli slaw (toss in a bit of rice vinegar and cracked pepper...NOM)
The best snack ever is their Kettle Corn. So light, sweet and hint of salty. Beauty.
No infections, Perkins! None.
