The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Must remember camera.

Yes, you really must.

Fair warning, I do not take good pictures. I try, but...

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

For serious. You take some great pictures!

Also, why is livejournal scheduling maintenance during my blow-off time? I have lyrics out for beta? Do they not understand my deep need for immediate feedback on all things? At least dreamwidth still loves me.

Those are selective. Plus I think my camera is being weird. Couldn't get good pix this last trip.

Loki thankfully likes his walks brief now that it is cold out. Clearly invigorates him (races straight to the trees to claw) but he's ready to go in pretty fast.

Dumped potato chip water on my foot picking up trash. Blech.

Potato chip water?

Picking up trash. Chip bags (it's a chronic issue with kids walking to school. I'm tempted to put out a trash can, but it'd disappear.) It's been raining. Potato chip water. Yes, I was grossed out.

I KNOW.

All told, the cold is passing pretty quick. I probably am less cranky about it than Grace. And the worst at least waited until I was home and could just sleep. Hope Noah and y'all skipped it.

Figure I get a cold once or twice a year (last I can remember was Jan or Feb. Had to cancel a dentist appt and then there was snow.) It probably bucks up my immune system.
