Hil, now I'm curious what diet it is!
The book that I used was Eat to Live, by Joel Fuhrman. The ones my mom just got me are Eat For Health, which is a two-book set. I lost a lot of weight with Eat To Live, but I'm not sure I could do it during the winter -- it includes a TON of fruits and vegetables, and when I was doing it, I was doing most of my shopping at the farmers markets. I'm not sure I could stand eating that many vegetables all the time if they're supermarket vegetables.
Since I got my purple hair, Liv has been asking for hair color. Is it wrong to drop in a temporary streak of green Manic Panic for a four year old?
Timelies all!
I am about to go downstairs and make a cheesecake for the party/housefilk we are having tomorrow. (Not a health food, but tasty!)
I'm not seeing any wrong there, Cashmere.

I have a giant box of nail polish!
It's so...shiny.

NO. No, it is not. And Amych linked to the awesome blog about it.
YAY
I hope you can find lots of stuff you like.
Deed is done. I didn't bother to bleach out--Liv's hair is quite light and she's so fickle she will tire of one color soon enough. If it washes out in a couple of days, she'll be ok with that.
She now has two small sections of green framing her small face.
I'll have to wait until she gets older to try to bleach before coloring--she doesn't have the patience to sit around in foils for very long.
