I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I prefer diet soda to corn syrup soda, but soda with sugar to either. I mostly just drink water, though.

I have started some turkey/chicken/leek broth and begun Hec's stuffing into bread pudding recipe, though I cut the custard component in half because I've never cared much for custard. Lunch will be some not approved for any healthy diet mashed potatoes smothered in turkey and gravy.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Eat food; not too much; mostly plants.

This. I need to get back to eating almost everything on a bed of spinach or mache.

Who was asking about the nutritional properties of V8? According to my nutritionist friend, no, you don't really get 2 servings of vegetables from V8. But it's better for you than soda!

Compassionately intolerant

I still sneak around with Dr. Pepper, despite what I said about kicking that bum to the curb...but I'm SO glad to have my SodaStream. I really do prefer it over juices and commercial sodas.

I'm really only interested in soda if there's alcohol in it.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

so...i've been considering "putting myself back out there", but the only way i see to feasibly do that is to join a dating website. any recommendations or success stories? i'm terrible at these things because i'm terrible at "selling" myself.

I've met a lot of people off OK Cupid over the past year... It's free, so there's that. It also attracts a slightly more interesting crowd than other sites (although there is plenty of overlap).

Ann, that's a ferret.

I prefer diet soda to corn syrup soda, but soda with sugar to either.

Which is why I drink so many soft drinks when we're overseas. They use real sugar, and still have fewer calories than American corn syrup drinks. (I'm very, very thankful that we've found a British foods store fairly near home. I can get Lilt on a semi-regular basis!)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Bear in mind that Jesse has some sort of OK Cupid superpower--or I do. In the opposite direction. Because I can't make that shit work.

I just got back 1/2 an hour. I don't know what to do with it. I want a nap. But I need to copy and paste instead. And then search and replace. And convert to tables.

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

when you say interesting...how so, Jesse?

i'm sure i'll be in the same boat, ita. i'm really bad at this kind of thing.

I agree with her on the interesting. But not in a good way. But, I kinda encouraged them both.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I never met anyone decent off a dating site when I was in New York, and I imagine LA to be even more whatever-that-is. I think OK Cupid has a higher proportion of freaks and geeks (and I mean that in the best possible way!) -- more smart people, more kinky people, more nerds, etc. Along with the standard and cheesy types.
