If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I don't come close on the fruit but I will agree that when you make sure to actually eat the servings of vegetables you're supposed to, it kind of crowds out a lot of other stuff.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

You diet soda people are weird. Of course, it started out tasting weird to me, and ended up giving me migraines, so it's just never gonna work out with me and fake azucar.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

This is cool:

call me jacki; zuisa is an internet nick from ancient times =)

(barring diet soda, which I will not be giving up until Hell freezes over)

Soda is basically my one and only vice. I drink way less of it than I used to, but it's still a problem.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Probably because the sugar is replaced with CRACK.

Pretty much this.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Oh my GOD. I'm gonna blow a gasket. I swear I can feel my blood pressure rising just sitting here. I want to choke my boss until her eyes bug out.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I really do prefer the taste of aspartame (Diet Coke) to corn syrup (regular Coke). It's tangier and less cloying.

Me too.

My eating-better philosophy: Eat less crap. Seriously, I am way too inclined to chips for dinner.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I hope you're all satisfied. I had to go scrounging around the house to go eat an orange.

And I cooked my one egg (portion control!) in olive oil instead of butter.

Butter is good for you.

Because books.

Once I got used to diet soda, there was no going back. Regular soda tastes way too cloying to me now. I sipped a regular Mountain Dew recently and almost gagged.

I don't drink as much diet soda as I used to, because I drink hot or iced tea pretty much all day, but I do use either aspartame or Splenda in it.

I tried a Jones Zilch last week, though, and it was really good. The pomegranate one. Not too sweet, and not too carbonated either.
