Lorne: Once the word spreads you beat up an innocent old man, well, the truly terrible will think twice before going toe-to-toe with our Avenging Angel. Spike: Yes. The geriatric community will be soiling their nappies when they hear you're on the case. Bravo.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Butter is good for you.

Because books.

Once I got used to diet soda, there was no going back. Regular soda tastes way too cloying to me now. I sipped a regular Mountain Dew recently and almost gagged.

I don't drink as much diet soda as I used to, because I drink hot or iced tea pretty much all day, but I do use either aspartame or Splenda in it.

I tried a Jones Zilch last week, though, and it was really good. The pomegranate one. Not too sweet, and not too carbonated either.

I am having oatmeal right now. Earlier I had hummus and carrots, which is a distinctly good combo. I'm sure I've had it before, but it just really hit the spot this morning.

I lost about 35 lbs. two years ago and kept it mostly off, then lost another 40 this past year, but put about fifteen of that back on since April. So. It's time to focus again. That was all modifying diet. Exercise, oh, exercise. Well, it's a good thing I have a non-sedentary job, is all I'm saying.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Oh my GOD. I'm gonna blow a gasket. I swear I can feel my blood pressure rising just sitting here. I want to choke my boss until her eyes bug out.

What you need is a Strangers On a Train type arrangement. I'm sure Allyson knows somebody who needs to be strangled.

Better than margarine, but is it better than cooking in olive oil?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

See, less sugar is good. But aspartame, sucralose, splenda, all that shit? Just taste nast.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Olive oil is better, but butter isn't so bad.

Good for butter. I always liked butter. Glad to see it's making a comeback.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Better than margarine, but is it better than cooking in olive oil?

In the amount needed to cook a single egg? I can't imagine it makes any difference at all.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Olive oil is better, but butter isn't so bad.

But butter builds better batter.
