I have written maybe three checks in the last five years.
I would like to go on the record that I loathe AT&T with the heat of 10,000 suns.
In more yay news...I can haz working car with insurance and updated tags!
My tags have been expired since June, and so... no drivey. No insurance either. And it was dead when we went out to move it up in the drive on T-day, so....
But we got it charged, and insurance on Monday (I got it for both of us for $50 less than was D has been paying ALONE, can I get a HELL YEAH?!) And it is betagged as of tonight, and I just drove it around and stuff.
I can now drive to work and to the store and...well, any damn where. Which means I can now sleep in to the magnificent hour of 5:45am, and get to work by 7, instead of waking up at 5 and having D drop me off at 6:10 am.
Y'all, life is going so good, I am almost scared.
I feel all accomplishy today. It is noteworthy cause I have been letting way too much slide recently.
In addition to work I went to karate, got blood drawn to check thyroid levels, made a dr appt for Kelly for when she is here over Christmas, called to refill CJ's prescription, picked up my refills and did a grocery shop.
Yet to do is finish table signs for craft show tomorrow, pack up everything for the show, print address list so I can work on holiday cards tomorrow, cook dinner, and maybe paint my nails.
Y'all, life is going so good, I am almost scared.
Don't worry, something unpleasant will happen.
And I fully understand, because I get very anxious when things are going well too.
Oh, oh, oh - and I found Pumpkin Spice Egg Nog. Nom!
Congrats Erin and SuziQ on accomplishments!
I finally woman'd up and made some bill-paying phone calls. When I opened one bill and saw $1,900, I nearly had a coronary. Luckily, they made a mistake in submitting it to Medicare so there's a chance it will be covered this time around. But I'm feeling good that I opened the bills and dealt with things. None of the bills was older than a week but it's an easy task for me to put off. And most of the news was good.

We have that in our fridge! I have to cut it with milk b/c it's too thick, but man, it is tasty!
Having looked on CL to see what I can afford to rent in the East Bay on $400, I sympathize with this recent grad in Beijing who built himself an egg-shaped temp shelter out of bamboo and burlap. [link]

Get in line. I've been swearing that I wouldn't piss on AT&T if it was on fire since at least 1992.
