Lorne: Once the word spreads you beat up an innocent old man, well, the truly terrible will think twice before going toe-to-toe with our Avenging Angel. Spike: Yes. The geriatric community will be soiling their nappies when they hear you're on the case. Bravo.

Happy Hannukah!

I meant to make latkes when I got home, but forgot in my hunger.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Jesse, I saw this article when I was home and thought it would be great for the blog:

Man returns Fort Worth woman's class ring lost for 15 years:

Streib had done a bit of detective work to track Dwire down and wanted to return something he had found. He held Nichole Dwire's high school class ring, lost 15 years before.

"He didn't ask for anything. He didn't want anything," Dwire said recently. "Mr. Streib has renewed my faith in others."

You guys are the best!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Why did that guy come back to his desk stinking of artificial odour enhancers? I totally have to take a walk now. The purifier's not denting it.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I just wished my Jewish boss a happy Hanukkah. He didn't realize it was today. (He's the same boss who didn't know what a Golem was.)

Anyway, I forget if he's agnostic or an atheist....

Allyson, there is definitely a headbug going around your neck of the woods, so best check it out. I had a headache from it yesterday, but it did go away.

So I found replacement bling for the dress! It's actually a fake marcasite ring, but I cut off the band. Go team repurpose! Fancy but not cheestastic. I'm pretty much all set now.

Think I'm on the road to recovery: can go down to 3 feet underwater, though 5 is still Too Much. And I'm less snotty. Slept most of the day again, though.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Sigh...In the process of paying bills I discovered that I was out of checks. I quickly placed an on-line order for more checks. Luckily my credit card bill isn't due until the 20th...

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I have written maybe three checks in the last five years.

I would like to go on the record that I loathe AT&T with the heat of 10,000 suns.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

In more yay news...I can haz working car with insurance and updated tags!

My tags have been expired since June, and so... no drivey. No insurance either. And it was dead when we went out to move it up in the drive on T-day, so....

But we got it charged, and insurance on Monday (I got it for both of us for $50 less than was D has been paying ALONE, can I get a HELL YEAH?!) And it is betagged as of tonight, and I just drove it around and stuff.

I can now drive to work and to the store and...well, any damn where. Which means I can now sleep in to the magnificent hour of 5:45am, and get to work by 7, instead of waking up at 5 and having D drop me off at 6:10 am.

Y'all, life is going so good, I am almost scared.
