I wanna die in bed surrounded by fat grandchildren, but guess that's off the menu.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Try ginger ale for the nausea.

Seconded. Or ginger tea.

I made it to work! I'd forgotten how large a part of my morning commute vocabulary the word "jacktard" is.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Maybe Perkins and I can't be at work at the same time.

I got a reply back to my working from home email to my boss, and I was all nervy and reluctant to read it. Of course, it was nothing. Hmmph.

Coding and Sleeping

In that case, I should probably mention I may be going home at lunch.

Apparently for this guy, the "good old days" were before 1820...

I'm surprised they don't just come out and say it: only white males who own real property can vote.

(And then they can argue about whether a condominium constitutes real property, since it wasn't discussed by the Founders.)

In other news, I thought I had a solution to my home-buying dilemma, but I don't.

I have to sell my house before I can make an offer on another one, and thus I run the risk of being homeless for a while, especially since I'm considering buying a short sale or an REO, because I can get a house in a better neighborhood for less money that way. But those sales take longer, and I may end up putting all my stuff in storage and living in my sister's guest room.

Argh.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

And then they can argue about whether a condominium constitutes real property, since it wasn't discussed by the Founders.

Now all I can hear is Scarlett O'Hara's father saying "Land, land is the only thing that's real!"

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I have no access to ginger ale. But if I hold my head VERY STILL, and close my eyes, it's okay.

Ugh. You deal with this shit every day, ita. And my pain is probably at 4, at most.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I'm surprised they don't just come out and say it: only white males who own real property can vote.

White males probably own most of the property anyway.

I'm always boggled by how UnAmerican extreme conservatives sound to me. Civil Liberties? Fuck 'em! Democratic enfranchisement? Fuck 'em! Violent overthrow of the government? That's not treason! It's patriotism!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

White males probably own most of the property anyway.

But I bet most white males don't own any.

And then they can argue about whether a condominium constitutes real property, since it wasn't discussed by the Founders.

Co-ops would never count. Sorry, NYC!!
