I am KICKING myself for not putting a dash of Drambuie in the cranberry sauce last night. Ah, well. Next year!
Ah see, now you aim for perfection. Me? I'm just happy to have made something that tastes good. But you did inspire me, so thanks.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, nail polish, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Nothing~ma to your mom, msbelle.
Tonight's turkey & dressing both turned out great, and now I'm hoping that the cooking gods remain with me until my margarita pie is done.
I am showered and now ready for bed as soon as my hair is drier.
I am not frazzled, but just kind of wired from all the t-Day stuff, and then everything going in on my head about the possible job on top of that.
I look forward to an active, enjoyable tomorrow, and spending Friday prepping for my interview.
I got to leave the theatre after rehearsal this afternoon instead of staying for the preview. Woo-hoo! I thought I might use this time to go see HP7, but I got all light-headed when I got home. Since I'm still slightly woozy even after eating I think I'm in for the evening.
I have no responsibilities tomorrow. Just me and the cats and I can prepare my completely non-traditional meal at my leisure.
nothing ~ma to msbelle's ma.
I may have decided to make an additional pie. This is a little ridiculous, since I don't think I'll have that many people, and the pumpkin is delicious (I made a teeny tiny one to eat now, and a regular one). But Suela posted on DW about a maple-pecan pie, and...well, while I was at the supermarket buying butter, I bought maple syrup too! I didn't buy pie crust though, so I'd have to make that. Hrm.
Go maple pecan! I think this holiday needs far more maple desserts!
My alarm clock's OS was updated a week or so ago, and now I have a skip/unskip button that lets me skip the next scheduled alarm so I don't need to actually turn it off and risk forgetting to turn it back on.
Yay, Chumby! I luv you!
It's cool to see all these posts updating us on T-day kitchen preparations. Americans (me included) so often go for fast food or just easy-to-make stuff. It's neat to see everyone getting in the kitchen at the same time and making a several course meal from scratch.
I love the annual Tday prep-and-post!!
It makes all the work a little more fun, and when you're scrubbing/baking/brilloing/cussing at running out of milk, you have someone besides the cats to yell to.
