If you take sexual advantage of her, you're going to burn in a very special level of hell. A level they reserve for child molesters and people who talk at the theater.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Erin, all crossables crossed for you--that does sound fabulously tailored just for you.

It's nothing~ma to mom of msbelle.

I'm grateful for our new house in our lovely new town in PNW. I'm grateful we're both relatively healthy. I'm grateful the rest of our family will be gathering tomorrow, and we'll speakerphone with four generations. No magnificent MiL's turkey stuffing (fork duels have been waged over the final serving) for us, but we'll have our own little romantic dinner a deaux.

Wishing all who celebrate a Happy Thanksgiving, and those who don't a lovely Thursday.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

It's timely given that my thankful list above included all the folks who've bought and been supportive of my album, but I received a note today thanking me for my album and saying that they "love love love" it. And that really made my day. Then I tweeted about that and someone else chimed in. So ♥

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Oh yes, fingers crossed for you Erin! Sounds like a great job.

but we'll have our own little romantic dinner a deaux.

Sounds pretty perfect to me, Beverly.

Hubby and I and the housemate we're willing to keep are going to a buffet tomorrow. Hubby used to like to cook it all up, but now the joy of no dishes to wash or cooking to do, plus his general blahness, have won. Being as none of us are from families that clamor for our company, it's a good thing. We will then come home and watch Castle DVDs.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I am thankful that I have friends wacky enough to call me and remind me my keys are in the fridge. Also, msbelle, I hope it's nothing with your mother.

My father went to the hospital yesterday to get an ECG. No, he hasn't told me this yet, and I'm not sure if I'm going to tell him he knows. No news yet on the outcome or possible severity of what sent him there. But it's not often he feels bad enough to get my mother to take him in.

It's weird how my accent comes through in my typing too, innit?

OK, anyone think of something easy and preferably savory to do with half a large can of pumpkin? The 29 oz cans were all I could find, and my pie recipe (which I just made) only calls for 16 oz can. I don't need another pie or anything sweet.
