The kitchen is full here and I didn't want to be in the way making b'fast (and every horizontal surface is covered with place settings) so I put off b'fast then eventually needed to go out for a meal. Volunteered to pick up some stuff while at Trader Joe's. I pretty much love cycling to TJ's anyway, but I especially appreciated it today as the cars were all backed up waiting for parking spots. Zoom - right to the bike rack. And it wasn't too bad inside, either. About the normal busy line rather than crazy busy holiday line.
ETA: ita, I hope you *do* get better this year. Just for its own sake...although I'm sure it would help the $ situation.
What am I thankful for? My family, for their general wonderfulness as well as for their good health, for my MiL's recent turn around health-wise, for my job, my home, my wonderful friends.
In a more immediate sense, I am very thankful that this holiday has brought so many good friends to LA to visit, so I get to see them!
Timelies all!
Good luck Erin!
We're going to Gary's mom's house for Thanksgiving, and we're bringing a pie.(Not home-made)
I am now additionally thankful that my boss has gone home, because I am going to too.
Via the kitchen, where my groceries and car keys are.
I hope I remember that after I shut down my PC.
Some it's nothing-ma or easily treated-ma for my mother. She went to the dermatologist today and he thinks a spot on her forehead was cancer. He took it off and will have biopsy results in a week.
