Oh, smacked in the noggin with a 2x4 wrapped in velvet. Yeah, that's what it felt like.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Amy, I love Liquid Gold for polishing. I am still oyal to lemon oil, but I cheat on it sometimes with Liquid Gold. It's SO SHINY.

Oof. In-law's are almost here in a drizzling rain. I am so excited to get my new dining room set it. I don't remember what it looks like, quite, except that it is all lightish wood, and certainly nicer than my present table.

My ham is done with the first part of baking, my cider-dijon sauce is reducing, and the house. IS. FUCKING. CLEAN!

Woot.

ETA: "LOYAL to lemon oil" Heh -- hilarious NPI.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Apple pies are in the oven. Woot!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Good luck, Erin!!!!!!

Report from the field: I would put Target at normal Saturday levels of clusterfuck, but that's comparing to Queens, which I bet is generally more of a clusterfuck than suburban Boston. I had high hopes that the Whole Foods has a student-y clientele, but that place was a TOTAL clusterfuck. Granted, it's a tiny and poorly-laid-out store, so it's always something of a clusterfuck, but yikes. I should have just gone to the Shaw's. At least there, one family stopped at the cheese samples doesn't block half the store.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

TJ's wasn't bad at lunch hour.

Please let me remember that my keys are in the fridge before I get to my car.

Because books.

I don't what scent is in this Liquid Gold, but it's addictive.

Why are your keys in the fridge, ita? ::chinhands::

Because my groceries are the in the fridge, and I don't want to go home without them. This seems to be the only way.

I renewed my benefits for 2011, and wow, are we ever a smaller company now. My medical costs are going to be so much higher next year. It kinda really sucks. Maybe I can get well before then? Yes?

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

We just finished open enrollment also. Our health costs go up in January and to be that part of your year end raise covered the added cost. Last year they shifted the start of our year end raises to the end of the 1st quarter, so now we have three months of a lower net paycheck before the raise kicks in. Do not like.

Must get going in the kitchen.

Ah. And yes! I hope so, anyway.
