And don't you ever stand for that sort of thing. Someone ever tries to kill you, you try to kill 'em right back! ... You got the right same as anyone to live and try to kill people.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I just don't want to have to consider her in that position. But it was work! So I couldn't just bolt. I looked like an idiot standing there with my hand on the doorknob and a stricken look on my face.

I really really don't want to talk to people in the bathroom, regardless of who is where. Unless we are both standing by the sinks, I guess. Even then -- can we leave the bathroom, please??

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I am on a bus, waiting to depart for Appleton. My brother will pick me up and take me to Clintonville. First time to see my parents' new place since they sold the farm. Bad son!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

McNulty/Stringer? It's perfectly predictable Foeyay hatesex. It will never make sense to the people it doesn't make sense to, but on the other hand, IDRIS MOTHERFUCKING ELBA.

Jesse, I am as one with you re: washroom. Let's have this discussion two steps over there.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Thanks, Jesse. I'll take a bottle along, then.

Yeah, I'm not interested in talking to anyone when I'm in the bathroom or ladies room, either. If my coworkers really need to get in touch with me I have email open all through the workday.

I know November hasn't been the best month for a lot of you, but what are people thankful for this Thanksgiving?

I'm thankful my mother came through here surgery OK and that her knee seems greatly improved. I'm also glad my sister is working again, and at what she used to do.

On a more selfish note, I'm thankful I'm still working and that the dermatologist said I had no signs of skin cancer.

And I'm thankful this place is here.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

If my coworkers really need to get in touch with me I have email open all through the workday.

Seriously. I have email. I am visible on IM. I AM TWO FUCKING CUBES DOWN THE HALL.

Sometimes e-mail is better. My co-worker whose office is 30 feet from mine ALWAYS picks the 15 minutes when I'm eating lunch at my desk to stop by and discuss assignments she's handing over to me.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

My one coworker hits "send" on the email and then walks over to talk to me about it. Unnecessary!!

I am thankful to have a job.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Sorry about dropping out of here last night! To get caught up: Steph, shrift was right--surgery is on Monday the 29th.

SuziQ, insent!

And I have a ton o' shit to do today. Making sure I clean off my desk, get some archiving done before leaving, calling various doctors and insurance companies to make sure they've got everything they need for next week, and then heading over to BB&B for the last batch of stuff I need for my apartment and then over to the DMV for my car registration renewal (at least they're open until 7:00). Then back home to finally get my apartment cleaned! I'll probably be pulling an all-nighter to finish that off.
