Hello, Susan!
I almost died of boredom the other day, but I pulled through, and you can too!
Wow. I just picked up a manuscript to edit in which the author put a hard return at the end of EVERY LINE.
FOR 35 PAGES.
It wouldn't be horrible to fix on our end, except it's hard to know when a new paragraph begins, seeing as how the author also didn't bother to indent new paragraphs or even put an extra line in between paragraphs. So it's a monolithic block of flush-left text. FOR 35 PAGES.
I asked my boss to send it back to the author with a request to format it properly.
God DAMN.
Possibly the author was writing it from 1950, but I feel sure that, even then, they INDENTED THEIR PARAGRAPHS.
Did they think they were sending as a telegram, Tep? That sounds just infuriating.
Awesome photo sets from the roller derby national tournament in Chicago.
Hee! Great shot of my friend Flo Shizzle's shiny gold ass!!!
That was actually her last derby bout. She's retiring.
Man dresses depressed Holocaust-survivor grandma as superhero, cheers her up
James sez, "Sacha Goldberger found his 91-year-old Hungarian grandmother Frederika, a WWII survivor, feeling lonely and depressed. To cheer her up, he photographed her dressed up as a fictional superhero. To his surprise, she loved it. The photos are a bit comical, but there's an underlying sense of hope, strength and courage in them."

Love the one with her in bed with Superman! And the ones with a dog in a cape.
My nephew is six, and he wants a video camera for xmas. He takes ridiculously good care of his things, so I'm not worried about him being careless with it, I just know nothing of camcorders. Any ideas? I was looking at this one, which seems rugged enough. It's just got to be simple for him to use.
He's going to be a big time movie director, apparently. Good thing Auntie knows a couple of people in da biz.
Oh, geez, Steph, that sucks!
I've got a PTO day. I was going to go out shopping, almost changed my mind and was deciding to stay in when I found out I have to go to Walgreens and pick up some monthly supplies right away (I was worried I'd be having my period during my surgery--guess I don't have to worry about that anymore!).
Hee! Great shot of my friend Flo Shizzle's shiny gold ass!!!
That particular bout was full of great derby asses.
Sorry to hear she's retiring!
Anyone know anything about stretching out a pair of Uggs that got dried out and shrunken over the summer?
That's awesome, Allyson. Owen is obsessed with uploading his lego videos to Youtube. I may look into getting him one of those since our Flip stopped working.
