My nephew is six, and he wants a video camera for xmas. He takes ridiculously good care of his things, so I'm not worried about him being careless with it, I just know nothing of camcorders. Any ideas? I was looking at this one, which seems rugged enough. It's just got to be simple for him to use.

I've got a PTO day. I was going to go out shopping, almost changed my mind and was deciding to stay in when I found out I have to go to Walgreens and pick up some monthly supplies right away (I was worried I'd be having my period during my surgery--guess I don't have to worry about that anymore!).

lisah, in the final bout this player set a record for penalties and was ejected after 7 majors.
I have one of those Kodak camcorders (not that exact model, but close enough) and it's great. Very easy to use, and designed to take a certain amount of abuse.
The only reason to choose a Flip instead is the built-in USB connector vs an extra cable to carry around, but I almost always transfer the files via a card reader anyway, so if the cable is lost it's not a big deal.

Today is office-cleaning day, and it already stinks of chemicals in here. Nasty, but on the other hand, the place does need cleaning like whoa. I've already carted away several bins worth of old books & catalogs. Now I'm on to sorting old papers and cleaning my keyboard. Yay?
