Art Crawl!!!

I want them to do a similar study on cats - you know, about the left eye thing.

And thanks everyone for the birthday wishes. I'm feeling pretty good despite my great age and decrepitude.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

I'm feeling pretty good despite my great age and decrepitude.

Better decrepitude than dreckitude.

Tonight is like a perfect storm of liquid. First, I bring in my patio set to wash down, and that's just a sloppy wet mess (in the basement, at least) and manage to nail myself in the face with corners repeatedly. Then as I'm putting down a glass of g-ale, it slips and hits perfectly to shatter glass all over the carpet. At least it was diet? And of course the vacuum is upstairs and the cats are being needy and walking where I don't want them to. I JUST finish cleaning that up and Loki knocks the recycling can over into the food and water dishes, resulting in water all over the floor and two ruined FULL bowls of food. Stop. Please.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Better decrepitude than dreckitude.

Truth!

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Some of my posts are just set to "Everyone."

You mean you specifically set that on a post, or it's your default?

I specifically set it on a post, depending on the content of the post. My default is Friends Only.

Not only are frequent travelers worried about radiation, there's the whole "if youturn it down we grope you so much you'll regret it" plan, and the worry that it's more, say, hot 17 year olds who are having to do the nudie-scope, which is harassing, and there is no trust that they don't then save those pictures. Or use them to make fun f passengers, or whatever.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

And, really, not all TSA workers are awesome. Many of them are just doing their jobs.

But I have had people I have had to complain about which sucks. I am happy to let the good or just competent people do their jobs.

I am not happy to have them take my belongings well away from me on the other side of a scanner and riffle through them while I am clearly telling them that *I* will take out anything electronic to be scanned.

It's just a mess.

I will calmly follow the rules. I will not have my things broken or stolen. And I really wish they'd try to make it as easy as possible too.

And, no, I don't want more cumulative radiation that isn't necessary. I think cancer rates are showing that, yes, the shit we do to our environment and bodies can take a terrible toll. I'd rather do less than more.
