Gwen: Demon, OK? The whole nine—cloven feet and horns and teeth. He wasn't wearing lamé though. Lorne: Yeah, the evil ones can't pull it off. It gets camp.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

How would you feel about Onerous Task Support Group Hour?

I could really use it...I have phone stuff at work I'm flinching away from right now, for no good reason besides just plain not liking phones. It's stupid and it makes me completely infuriated at myself.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I fixed a toilet this morning. Just the handle/flush mechanism and not perfectly, but it works for now. It's been broken for nearly a month, requiring the removal of the top of the tank and manually pulling the chain to flush.

No fair! You already did your onerous task!

I'm thinking of the avoidy projects that tend to rollover on your to-do list. Or don't go on the to-do list because them you'd have to do them.

Coding and Sleeping

I've started turning the spaceship into a fort/clubhouse. It's just a floor and frame down, sort of sad. But it'll get better soon.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Finishing The Sound and the Fury has been on my to-do list for months. ugh. Do not like.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I would totally be into an Onerous Task Support Group. I have onerous tasks. They need doing. Who better than me?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I read that a snake somewhere gave birth to viable virgin parthenogenetic babies. I like that better for the virgin birth thingy, since it was only that snake doing it. I mean, she wasn't devaluing the specialness, you know?

Though I'm not sure she was a virgin. Just that there was no male input into that particular batch.

Is that your onerous task? How much Faulkner can you read in an hour? Like, one sentence, right?

What do you think would be a good time for all the different time zones?

2pm EST/11am PST? How does that work with the mountain state time zone? I guess you could have lunch at 1pm.
