Spike: At least give me Wesley's office since he's gone. Angel: He's not gone. He's on a leave of absence. Spike: Yeah, right. Boo-hoo. Thought he killed his bloody father. Try staking your mother when she's coming on to you! Harmony: Well…that explains a lot.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Auto correct drives me insane sometimes. I don't have an iPhone, just a pseudo-smartphone HTC thing I picked up in China, but I have sent some truly bizarre things to Twitter because of it.

Well, then you can just scoop the piles of paper into a box for later perusal. Just don't forget the perusal later.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Hooray! I just got my first money in at this job! Granted, it was a renewal, but I had a meeting with a board member, and they increased from last year. PHEW.

information libertarian

Someone is starting a Time Bank in my community, and I just signed up. [link] I am really excited about it - both the community-building aspects and the idea of having someone who is not me and my husband to help kick-start projects around the house and yard. I mean, I am much less likely to put stuff off if someone is coming over to help for an hour or two, right? And I listed myself as good at doing things like setting up LibraryThing for churches and organizations, organizing, and painting, all of which would be kinda fun to do.

Yay money! Good for you! Renewals aren't automatic things, so you did good work, especially to get an increase. Good job!

I've never heard of Time Banking before, but I just read that website and I really like the idea!

Happy birthday, Jessica! And congrats on the money, Jesse!

Time banking sounds interesting.
