Can't any one of your damn little Scooby club at least try to remember that I hate you all?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I'm trying to convince the husband we need to go here for Christmas.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I got it for $8/pint not including shipping, so yes

Yeah. It was $11.99. For a pint!

I had a Groupon. As soon as we got in this place it was clear there was no value in buying actual groceries, so got the Jeni's, the broth, some bread and a shit ton of expensive stinky cheese.

Fox & Obel, for Chicago folks. I can get going there for specialty stuff or the deli. But we were boggled at the people walking around doing their Actual Grocery Shopping there.

YES. Seriously, Jesse. I watched a special on how they made it and how she found a special printer to do it, etc. [link] God bless Youtube!

I miss littler ones too, Amy. Like lumpy babies.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

GRACE! I'm totally beside myself. She's coming along so well.

Good Wife: Dude, Kalinda! I think right now, of all the people on TV I want her wardrobe the most. And then, Beckett second. As for their guest star--do you reckon that was entirely Michael J Fox's natural aspect? I haven't seen him recently. Nice to see him.

In terms of Grace, I think after this year, we're going to switch schools. And perhaps districts. But yes, schools for sure. She needs to be in an inclusion school FOR SURE.

Because books.

I miss littler ones too, Amy. Like lumpy babies.

I think my ovaries are in that last desperate bid for use, honestly. I see a baby and I melt in a puddle of goo.

But I only want ones I give back after a few hours at this point.

Oh man! Grace walking is AWESOME. And I get to see it soon, live! I still remember her barely willing to take steps with her fists in your open palms last year, and how it annoyed her not to cling but she did it anyway.

And uh, good luck adjusting to two self-mobile 3 year olds.

I swear to god, the radio station that the lifeguards listen to never fails to play Teenage Dream either just as I get into the water, at the end of my swim before cooldown, or just as I get out of the pool. Crazymaking.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That looks awesome, Dana!

I will HAPPILY borrow them. For real. A week would be just right. I miss little ones like mad.

Yep.

But I only want ones I give back after a few hours at this point.

This is why aunthood is such an awesome gig, though many of my bio-and-honorary neiphews are too far away. And the local ones, well, we're all so busy. I love the warm lump stage. I love the toddler stage. I'm even warming up to the teenage stage, as long as it is a kid I know, not the traveling packs. (This is kind of...epic. I didn't like my peers when I was a teen, preferring either much older or younger company, and never really warmed up to that age.)

Lemon juice? Straight?

I am staring, but I'm not sure if it's in awe or in horror.

I used to drink fresh-squeezed lime juice with no sugar.

I suppose it's destiny that I'd like lemon-y stuff since my family gets its name from them. But while lemonade is great, I don't like the stuff in water at all.
