And what's with all the carrots?

Sparky, my son and I stayed at the Howard Johnson across from the front entrance five years ago. It was nice and reasonably priced.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I love sage, I have a great big pot of it growing on the balcony. It's savory-yummy. It always reminds me of roasted chicken dinner, because that's what we flavored poultry with when I was growing up. Sage, onion, garlic, olive oil.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

There's already been a Roxanne Dawson in Star Trek. Rosario Dawson would just confuse me.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I have maybe an hour's worth of work I'm supposed to get done by noon.

I'm not sure I have an hour's worth of motivation though.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Hmm. I don't think I'd like sage in my tea, then. Currently, I think Mango Ceylon is my favourite, but I'm a sucker for mango anything.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Currently, I think Mango Ceylon is my favourite, but I'm a sucker for mango anything.

Once upon a time, I was really tired and went to a cafe for tea. I ordered Ceylon, but I pronounced it 'Cylon.' Luckily, I was not made fun of.

ION, my boss is out of the office and I don't have much to do. So now I'm dismayed over how much used car prices have gone up in this economy (as new car sales are down).

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

I have today off from work, but I still went in to deal with cell lines.

TO YOUR FACE!!!! There's a post on a website somewhere mocking you right this moment. Ah, internet, the passive aggression you enable.

Rosario totally outranks Roxanne, so I think we should just retroactively remove whatsername and put Rosario in as whoever she wants to be.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I absolutely LOVE, and so does my dad, Harney & Sons tin of Tower of London tea. It is wonderful, but a little pricey ($12 for 30 sachets) and I get two tins for my dad on Xmas and his bday. It smells...so good. [link]

You can get it at Williams-Sonoma, some Barnes & Nobles, and online.
