I don't think I've ever seen an ep of MSCL. Huh.

ION, Loki has NO SENSE. Random person walking down the street? OMGDANGERFLEE! Random person walking a bigass dog? What's that? Let's get closer! Let's approach!

Uh, no. Bigass no. And then the nerve to grumble at me when I scoop him up.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I think Loki sounds like a fun cat.

IOCatN, I like to make this very cheap cat toy out of one of those plastic rings that are left on a bottle of milk after you take the top off, and a piece of string. Anyway, Squeaky does this thing where she grabs the plastic ring out of the air using only one paw. Then she continues to hold it with one paw while she bites it. I can tug on the string fairly hard (you know, for kitty play) and she can hang onto the plastic ring with one paw.

I don't know if this is common cat behavior and I never noticed it before, or if she's unusual in her ability to do this.

eta: I think she hooks her claws around the ring and then retracts them.

He really is a trip.

Cheap toys are usually the most successful. We used to refer to that part of the milk cap specifically as the catthing. We'd peel 'em off and toss it on the floor without thinking. I still have the impulse to do that with those kind of caps despite not buying milk in ages.

I don't know what to make for dinner. Larb? Tacos? Taco salad? Maybe something with squash or potatoes or beets?

Ideally I should make something that's quick to prepare, since I'm still suffering from the woozies.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I was going to vote beets but if you have woozies, maybe more protein. Are tacos fast for you? Those.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Shrimp rolls with bacon. Why did no one tell me about these sooner?

Um, no one told me either, and they sound great.

shrift, we had tacos. I vote taco salad.

Taco salad does sound good, and I've got lettuce to use up.

I went to work today because I have ten million things on my to do list. And for a reason I'm sure you can find on most news media sites. And I needed to buy stamps. Frickin' stamps.
