Oh, I almost forgot - my shrink is having me switch to a different antidepressant - one that's covered by my insurance. So that's an extra $200 a month in my pocket....

Extra money = yay!
I had an amusing phone call on my machine last night--some local Honda dealership called to see if I'd be interested in refinancing my car loan and/or trading in my car for a less expensive used one on their lot. I wrote down their phone number to call back tonight and tell them that their timing is off, since my last payment in only ten days away and then the car's all mine.
Lived in California in the 70s. Even then there were decent inexpensive California wines available.
Rural Illinois, not so much.
Yeah, California before conservatism ruined it offered a lot you could not get elsewhere. One of the first states (maybe the first) state to repeal all laws against non-commercial sex between consenting adults. And for a while Marijuana penalties were reduced to the same as a traffic ticket. That was under then Governor Jerry Brown. Too bad he was never heard of again...
Well, as Meg Whitman said, California under Jerry Brown was good. Maybe that's why they voted for him instead of her...
I can't believe I made someone get pearl-clutchy. Me! Isn't SWAG acceptable business lingo?
Also:
Dear Soul Patch,
I like you. You're a nice guy. Shave that shit off. Seriously.

What's SWAG? Not SNAG or SWAK, which is all I can come up with at the moment.
All I've got is Sealed With a Grope.
I hang around with you people too much.
