Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

If you want to look at delicious organisation possibilities, Burrell, mine is delicious.com/[ljhandle]. None of the content will be of interest to you, but I've tried to be hard core about tagging and using tag bundles, so it might give you and idea of potential.

Coding and Sleeping

Sorry about the job situation. 300 teachers, geez. The scary thing is that it could get far, far worse if the earnings tax is voted down.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Burrell, no guilt allowed. We all cannot fix everything, we can just recognize there is a lot to fix and try to do something.

I work Veteran's Day, and do get the day after Thanksgiving off.

This is me, all part of my companies wacky holiday/vacation policy. Sometimes I really miss the investment consulting firm where we had all federal holidays (and Patriots Day), 2 personal days, 10 sick days, and started with 3 weeks vacation, which went up to 4 after three years.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Thanks ita, I'll check it out.

Burrell, no guilt allowed.

Guilt is funny that way, msbelle. I tell my students and my kids to let go of their guilt, but I have a hard time doing it myself. But yes, I agree with you.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I was going to take half days today and tomorrow, but my boss is already taking both days off completely, and I have to cover. I'll be taking Friday off instead, so that's good.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

I have tomorrow off and yay! I need it. I coach the speech team and our state competition is Saturday, so we've been having rehearsals every day till 5 this week and then I will be working most of the day on Saturday at the competition.

And, in the eligibility check yesterday, I found out 4 of my kids are failing a class, so they can't go unless they get their grades up by Friday.

I are tired, y'all.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm excited because I just made a doctor's appointment, and the first appointment I could get was 12/21 at 1pm. Which I think is crazy, but that is a perfect day to take off! I can finish my Christmas shopping...

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Burrell, I have my cert for 9-12 English in MO, have taught college English courses, subbed for K-12, been learning advocate for 6-12 grade in an at-risk teen shelter, and taught summer school for 8th graders.

I also have a shitton of experience in advocacy work, including legal, for domestic violence shelters, and started up and ran an undergrad tutoring services program for KU, as well a giving seminars and individual consultations for students there on any issue related to academic performance (time management, test anxiety, study skills, etc. ad nauseaum.)

I've also organized two international conferences for English graduate students and researched for a prominent medieval scholar (a comprehensive medieval medical works database, lots of Latin), and.... Well. You get the idea. But I can't get a job answering phones.
