tv, was just for one day

How did it go, overall?

CJ is still on a tech hiatus. I did agree to give him his computer an hour a day, plus as needed for homework. But I still have the PS3 controllers and his PSP.

He has been pretty good about it and his behavior has improved.

I don't remember if I mentioned it here. When CJ returned form California he came with a brand new FIFA soccer ball. Apparently my dad thinks he isn't active enough. Four plus hours of karate in a slow week, random push-ups/crunches at home, biking to and from school, plus PE aren't enough. Has he looked at the boy? I know genetics are against him, but he is a string bean and has more muscles that most 14 year olds.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

there was overly dramatic pouting and noise about how I do not care about him and maybe something about how he is just terribly mistreated.

Because books.

Excellent, Suzi! Plus, it gives you more time to discuss Supernatural.

What?

TV access is in the constitution. Somewhere. Right?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I saw a mention of Mad Max elsewhere, and all of a sudden I'm having Tom Hardy thoughts. Was that just a rumour? I don't see it on his IMDB. I do see Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, though--but I don't remember the book well enough to recall anything about the character he's playing. But Cumberbatch! Firth! Nom.

And then there's an MMA film, which means shirtlessness and combat and sweating, oh my.

Heeeee. Recent conversations made me laugh because he is normally the one who remembers quirky details. I swear he has an amazing memory (except when it comes to chores). But I trumped him on a couple of things. So my brain isn't all gone. Yet.

The time not to start wondering about the photopacity of your sweater: when standing at the front of the auditorium, accepting an award. Ack.

ugh, I think this guy from church is interested in me. no room in my head for that. he finds me "really interesting" and would "like to continue our conversation". He completely monopolized me in conversation this last Sunday as our class had a breakfast potluck and just sat around chatting. nice enough guy, but not for me. Also he makes me feel like he has read a book or something on how to talk with women. He asks a lot of questions and then keeps saying things like "you've done a great job with " or "that's really fascinating blah blah blah" "it's impressive..." I just hate people, that's it, right?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

It sounds like he's trying too hard, but maybe he's nice anyway!

And what's with all the carrots?

When CJ returned from California he came with a brand new FIFA soccer ball.

Does he want to play soccer?

Spiders belong outside, preferably out of view, or they will get squished.

Snakes also belong outside and, according to the wife, preferably across town. A little one slithered under the garage door yesterday. She accidentally ran it over and purposefully chopped off the head when she found it later. She is the spider killer and I am the snake killer, but officiating volleyball all day prevented me from playing hero.
