Early: So is it still her room when it's empty? Does the room, the thing, have purpose? Or do we -- what's the word? Simon: I really can't help you. Early: The plan is to take your sister. Get the reward, which is substantial. 'Imbue.' That's the word.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh dear. I did go and look for cheaper coats, to no avail, so I decided to keep the one I bought yesterday. But then I found a coat in my closet I had forgotten about! Which serves the exact same purpose as the one I just bought. Oops. So I guess I'll return it.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Ha! I am watching via Saints' fb status updates.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Closet shopping would be a whole lot more fun if it didn't induce shopping guilt.

Announcement: Reason #3492 why I hate grading

I hate it when I'm grading and my son knocks my jump drive out of the computer and kills it. Especially when my jump drive has all my grading on it for the past couple years--including the current set of 10+ page papers that I was in the middle of grading.

Reason #5896 why I love my husband

When my son knocks my jump drive out of the computer and kills it, my DH can bring the sucker back from the dead long enough for me to transfer all my grades for the semester back onto my computer.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Holy crap! That sounds stressful. And amazing, on your DH's part....

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Yikes, Burrell. That's one of those panic moments.

Cleveland is leading the Patriots by 10 in the third quarter? This is a weird football season.

Our wings are not tired.

Yay for superhero DH to the rescue!

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Yes and yes, Jesse.

Yay for superhero DH to the rescue!

Heh. My superhero.

Of course, now that I've been saved, I really need to get back to grading. D'oh!

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Now I need to figure out how to change the clock on my car radio.

Damn, I have to remember this too. I do it twice a year, that really should be enough that I don't start from scratch each and every time.

I hate time change. The sun goes down so early with such an abrupt change. Unlike.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

I love cheese. They don't have to get me on that bandwagon as I'm already driving it, honking the horn and yelling "CHEESE IS GOOD FOOD!!"

I finished our potluck contribution which includes shepherd's pie and ANZAC biscuits. I'm feeling very thematic.
