I fell down and got confused. Willow fixed me. She's gay.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I tried to explain it to her, but she wasn't biting and said that she didn't want to be a servant. So I explained to her about being a functioning member of the family and the requirement that occasionally, she throws out Mommy's leftover salad container.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

    • wash dishes
    • clean off the dining room table
    • make my bed
    • fold my laundry
    • dust
    • vacuum

All done! Before noon! Go team Extra Hour!

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

Sarameg, i would totally have stayed in if one of my cats started acting like that. He might have just caught a whiff of something big and scary...one of mine used to hackle up whenever we passed a pole or fire hydrant (i also took him for walks on a harness since he wanted to go outside and living in a 3rd floor walkup right on a busy street made that a no-go without supervision). Usually it was just hackles but one time he took one sniff and tore off straight up the nearest tree. I almost got ripped to shreds trying to extract him. It took an entire evening of gentle affection to get him calmed back down to normal, and that was without paw damage. I wouldn't be surprised if it took days (or weeks) for Loki to be ok going outside again.

Our wings are not tired.

Go Tom! Maybe I should make a list. Nah.

I am getting stuff done. The extra hour thing is quite nice. We should do this more often. Forget the robbing an hour every Spring. Let's just grab an extra one from time to time. It will work out in time.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Today, we finish the Big Reorganization (after we finish the Big Throwing Shit Out). But first, breakfast at Ikea, where we will buy Things To Put Other Things In.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

"Watching" the Saints game courtesy of the NFL website is surreal. Did the Saints seriously just gain 54 yards on their first play? Which was a run?

...and now Carolina intercepted and returned for 61 yards? Is this a joke? Am I getting a made-up game?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I should do Tom's list as well, but meh. I ran the dishwasher, at least.

Oh dear. I did go and look for cheaper coats, to no avail, so I decided to keep the one I bought yesterday. But then I found a coat in my closet I had forgotten about! Which serves the exact same purpose as the one I just bought. Oops. So I guess I'll return it.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Ha! I am watching via Saints' fb status updates.
