I stupidly scheduled myself to work today, not realizing it was time-change weekend, which means that instead of me working until 10pm, in my body it will be me working until 11pm. Which is two hours past my bedtime, and will fuck up the entire week. ARGH.

Sarameg, i would totally have stayed in if one of my cats started acting like that. He might have just caught a whiff of something big and scary...one of mine used to hackle up whenever we passed a pole or fire hydrant (i also took him for walks on a harness since he wanted to go outside and living in a 3rd floor walkup right on a busy street made that a no-go without supervision). Usually it was just hackles but one time he took one sniff and tore off straight up the nearest tree. I almost got ripped to shreds trying to extract him. It took an entire evening of gentle affection to get him calmed back down to normal, and that was without paw damage. I wouldn't be surprised if it took days (or weeks) for Loki to be ok going outside again.
