"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I just saw that and, yeah. It's crap like that that gets me so frustrated.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

If you really want your head to explode, listen to Paul Begala on last week's This American Life. He's totally right about why the Democrats don't have their shit together.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Will do! Thanks!

Also, not so much the comments, but this [link] I don't agree with the comments, because I do enjoy my friends' stuff about their kids and how they feel (my friend P's daughter C is especially awesome because along with all the "so excited stuff" is also a bunch of "being pregnant SUCKS" stuff).

an overblown libretto and a sumptuous score/ could never contain the contradictions I adore

Timelies, guys.

I am in my pajamas at 4 PM on a Wednesday. I'm starting to suspect something has gone wrong with my life.

Not happy that the crowd booed Arnie. Bad form that.

One of my favorite things about working from home is not getting dressed for work.

If I were working, that would be totally valid. Mostly I am feeling vaguely crummy and not applying for jobs, as I should be.

Mmph. Maybe I can get some writing done.

someone has detention. the same someone has been lying to me about what he is getting for lunch and he lied to me yesterday about homework. he had a friend tell him he is not her friend anymore because his behavior was so bad in school today. a no good very bad day for someone.

good thing I am in such a good mood right? I should deal with all this just great.

Punishingly Intricate

Ugh msbelle.

My work computer decided to get all jacked up today. Awesome. And I was already feeling overwhelmed and stressed out about work. Harddrive may be fucked.
