One of my favorite things about working from home is not getting dressed for work.
If I were working, that would be totally valid. Mostly I am feeling vaguely crummy and not applying for jobs, as I should be.
Mmph. Maybe I can get some writing done.
someone has detention. the same someone has been lying to me about what he is getting for lunch and he lied to me yesterday about homework. he had a friend tell him he is not her friend anymore because his behavior was so bad in school today. a no good very bad day for someone.
good thing I am in such a good mood right? I should deal with all this just great.
Ugh msbelle.
My work computer decided to get all jacked up today. Awesome. And I was already feeling overwhelmed and stressed out about work. Harddrive may be fucked.
I'm depressed about the national results, but MA stayed bluer than blue (the Scott Brown fiasco aside), so there's that.

Mine, too. I'm currently in sweat pants with holes in them, a t-shirt with holes in it, fuzzy socks, and a plaid overshirt that matches exactly none of the other things. My cat doesn't care.
I'm sorry mac's having an unfortunate patch, msbelle.
Dammit. Our car just got towed. ARGH.
There's a lot of construction in our neighborhood, with lots and lots of otherwise usable parking spaces blocked off by construction signs. Last night Hec parked in a safe place --adjacent to a tow zone, but totally safe and legal. Sometime today the construction people added new signs, then called the city and had our car (and probably several others) towed.
And, thanks to ongoing stupidity with my daycare FSA administrators, the $500 reimbursement I was expecting last week has turned into $84 sometime later this week.
And now I have to run off to a joyless (and refreshment-less) staff meeting for the next hour. GNARGH.
JZ, they can do that? Just change the zoning under cars that are legally parked and have them hauled away with no notice? That's insane.
I'm thinking of getting the Living Dead Dolls Christmas doll.

OMG! Someone just linked that Evan Bayh editoral as a way to prove her point that Democrats are demagogues. Way to miss the point there.
