How did your brain even learn human speech? I'm just so curious.

Happy Birthday, Shrift!

Most rescue agencies require dogs to be chipped: it's become the standard, and I can't see any reason not to do it. In fact, I believe some cities are requiring it as part of their pet registration process.

I am not liking this whole return to work thing. Too many emails in my inbox, too many items on my to-do list! And what am I doing? compiling linkspam. Woops.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

Onerous tasking:

- finally figured out how to deal with the new password I inadvertently gave my Verizon VM when my phone wasn't working well. (Still need to figure out how to customize the auto-generated password reset, though.)

- Called doctor's office. Left mssg because no one was picking up the phone despite it being business hours.

- Called chiropractor's office. Left mssg.

Happy birthday, Shrift! Hi/bye, Nilly!

(((smonster))) I'm glad he was as polite about it as he could be but I'm sure it still hurts.

"already on the kiss-cam with Karl Marx"-

I think the tag is a law around here. Of course, our leg worked overtime to get people the right to blow their fingers off with firecrackers(and they hate the thought that the government might pay to have the fingers reattached, so it's hardly a council of wise elders or anything.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Meeting with the VP went fine, as we all knew it would.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Hey, check out the cool pic of our friend Andy at work on "The Green Hornet" [link]

He and his wife Heather are the people we go to the movies with just about every week, and have done so for the last decade. Just wonderful friends and people.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

I've chipped Nathaniel. I live in a neighborhood where pets get dumped. Most strays get scanned around here -- there are so many. and I'm amazed at the number that don't have chips. It isn't that costly and that was the least disturbing part of what happened to Nathaniel that day ( he was sticked , chipped and clipped )

In the case of dogs, they are sort of single minded and they can get distracted
