This is my boat. They're part of my crew. No one's getting left. Best you get used to that.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

So whatever this baby girl has been waiting on

C'mon, it's been cold out there.

This is the perfect month to be born if you want to play professional hockey.

Or pretty much any other sport. Choose fencing!

Amy, my thoughts with you and your family. Said a prayer for you all in church today.

Baby, I know it's warm and cozy, but you have to get out here, we want to meet you.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Or pretty much any other sport. Choose fencing!

Well, in baseball it's much more advantageous to be born in May because of Youth League cutoff dates. As a result, May birth kids are basically a year older than April birth kids playing in the same age-league.

But the youth league hockey cutoff date is Jan 1.

In sum: Choose fencing!

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

I suspect she's waiting for a lull in the hospital traffic that inevitably follows massive incliment weather. That's a smart little girl!

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Yup, baby girl is 2 days past due at this point. Which I know isn't really that much, but damnit, I have been pregnant for so. fucking. long.

Java, probably not - we crunched the numbers and with DH staying home to be a full-time Dad, the money just isn't there. We're going to have trouble just staying on top of our current expenses as it is.

Operation eat at home more is underway. We ate in all day yesterday and even managed lunch in today, which is a small miracle for us on a Sunday. I really need to get to the grocery store today though if I am going to be able to cook enough to get us through the week with only eating out Tuesday night.

I put stuff in the attic. Isn't that enough work for one day?

E is the third SAHD in my group of friends. I like this trend! I hope the numbers work out in your family's favor as long as you want them to!
