I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Operation eat at home more is underway. We ate in all day yesterday and even managed lunch in today, which is a small miracle for us on a Sunday. I really need to get to the grocery store today though if I am going to be able to cook enough to get us through the week with only eating out Tuesday night.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I put stuff in the attic. Isn't that enough work for one day?

Our wings are not tired.

Java, probably not - we crunched the numbers and with DH staying home to be a full-time Dad, the money just isn't there. We're going to have trouble just staying on top of our current expenses as it is.

E is the third SAHD in my group of friends. I like this trend! I hope the numbers work out in your family's favor as long as you want them to!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I went to Costco. I know that's enough outside for the day.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Finally read Hunger Games yesterday. Collins watches a lot of Survivor, hmmm?

Can't buy the others until I read some of the other books I've bought the last couple of weeks. It was really hard not to go straight for the Kindle edition at 1 am last night.

not your mom's socks.

OMG peoples - my mom did a small grocery run for us since we are getting in so late. This seems to be entirely about feeding DH and the grandchild, but it's totally welcome. This is an epic, never before, amazing gift. ION, we are holed up in a kid's room of one of the cheaper airport clubs in Dallas - HKF is feeling better than she did at 4am this morning, but the peace and quiet here seems to be working wonders. Only a couple more hours, then three more hours in the air, then 30 minutes driving, and we wil be home!

::shakes pompoms for babymoon::

Also, my mom has been reading Hunger Games and is miffed at me that she can't put it down. She also wants to have words with me about my dad's Angry Bird habit. I kind of love this.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Sox, you're such a bad influence. Glad HKF is feeling better. Safe rest of your travels.

Natterinos, I switched out my DVR. What's starting back up soon, other than Southland?

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Justified.

Our wings are not tired.

Sox, were you outside when Mike and Amy and I were talking about Hunger Games? I gave Amy the hardback a couple of months ago and dared her to read 10 pages without being sucked in. She got so sucked in that she read the entire series in a weekend (I was receiving profane texts from her because she was supposed to actually be doing other stuff that weekend but couldn't.stop.reading.). So then her teen daughter Maggie read the series. And now the husband Mike is in the middle of Catching Fire and he was cursing me for turning them onto the crack and I laughed so, so hard. What is very funny is that after megan walker turned down the offer of my older Kindle, I gave it to the next best recipient, Amy. And we've kept it registered to me, for now, so that she can read all of the stuff I've already bought. So Mike has stolen her Kindle to read Catching Fire and Amy threw $10 at me at my party because she bought a book (on my account) and we got into a funny argument about her not needing to pay me if it's something I'll read anyway but if she purchases Danielle Steele, she has to pay me $100.

I am sure this makes no sense but it struck me as hilarious at the time. Of course I had three of megan walker's Dark and Stormies in me, so everything was hilarious.

Sox, I am glad your mom is making a grocery run for you. And may the rest of your travels be as stress-free as possible.
