It's in the mid-40's today, which is just about perfect after 18" of snow. Just warm enough to play outside, not quite warm enough to turn the city into a giant slush puddle (yet). So we went sledding! (I *finally* managed to find a hardware store yesterday that wasn't sold out, and I bought their VERY LAST SLED. I am Supermom.)
Every time my phone rings today, I'm answering it with "No baby yet" just in case it's my mom again. I told her to just keep checking Facebook, but she didn't think that was very funny.
I think we're going to the pool this afternoon. Meanwhile I'm just sitting on my ass and eating as much Jamaican food as I can and surfing the internet and uploading to flickr and contemplating scanning old pictures. But I don't want to get up.

I did All The Errands, and found Sofia bubbly-in-a-can at my supermarket! I was wanting something bubbly for tonight, but it's just me, so a bottle would be A Little Much. I still can't believe my supermarket has liquor.
we have gone and picked up mac's playdate and picked up a fast food lunch for us all. I should probably do some of the chores, but do not wanna.

We went out to a pub for lunch. But mostly I am bitter that we are not being let go early. Almost everyone else I know in gov't has already been sent home.
I am jealous! Shaaaack.
I'm looking forward to the 5 Napkin Burger about to open up across the street from me. I had that burger at Nice Matin once, and it was DELISH.
Went for a walk in the rain. Decided to suck it up and let the mud monster play in the park. At least the waters have receded somewhat.
