Careful driving out there!

I didn't get into work in time to go to the cafeteria for breakfast, so I was pretty hungry at lunchtime. However, I made what I now think was probably a big mistake in getting the bbq beef brisket--my stomach is having digestion issues, although it is staying down for the time being. I was only able to eat about half of one slice, and they gave me three slices and a piece of sausage. I think I'll take it all home, pour out some of my dad's BBQ sauce, chop up all the beef and sausage and put it into the sauce for lunch and dinner for the next several days.

Should have gotten the chicken salad again.

We have snow. But are only supposed to get a few inches. Kelly is out on the roads and I'm trying not to be nervous about it.

Yes, you do. (if it works out and all that non-mememe stuff)

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

And thanks, guys.

I'm totally fine. (Other than the panic!) We got a huge load of firewood in Tuesday and the dog and I are all snug in the house. Fed the birds who are going crazy out there. We've got groceries and stored water and whatnot. So I should be fined even snowed in.

But poor SO. It's been a half hour since the last report. I'm thinking even if he's successful in getting home the other way it'll probably still be another hour. But I'm going on the premise that no news is good news at this point, and that he'd call me if he wrecks.

Meanwhile, it has starting coming down again like crazy (it was sunny when he left) and blowing winds are really severe.
