Well, he made it to town. He's going to look at the other highway coming back north. But going that way, once you get in our neighborhood it's a lot more curvy. He says it looks like none of the roads have been plowed at all. It may just be that it's blowing and drifting so much it looks that way, or it might be true; our towns have had serious financial problems.
Here's hoping he can come back up, but if he needs to stay, he should stay. Just be safe, SO!
That's just weird. The company should pay the taxes since they're the one giving the gift. Passing that on to the recipient is Scroogeful.
~ma for Burrell's MIL and good driving~ma for Liese's SO.
Happy anniversary Amy and S!
Sunny day here, so that's good. After a couple days of not sewing, I'm back to it. Good thing I started the dress well before I need to leave on this trip...

Not so much Scroogeful as perhaps unawares.
Yikes, Liese. I'd suggest he hop a ride with a plow, but they few are probably all crazy busy.
I can feel the stages of this cold progressing. Uhg.
Matt, for the Creation Con ---most cons have a need for volunteer workers. Perhaps you can check out whether there are work trade opportunities? (Even though Creation Cons are not exactly grassroots affairs, they may still need volunteers.)
It is, Perkins. Late July.
Careful driving out there!
I didn't get into work in time to go to the cafeteria for breakfast, so I was pretty hungry at lunchtime. However, I made what I now think was probably a big mistake in getting the bbq beef brisket--my stomach is having digestion issues, although it is staying down for the time being. I was only able to eat about half of one slice, and they gave me three slices and a piece of sausage. I think I'll take it all home, pour out some of my dad's BBQ sauce, chop up all the beef and sausage and put it into the sauce for lunch and dinner for the next several days.
Should have gotten the chicken salad again.
