It's not raining here yet, so we went to the open-air ice skating rink tonight. So much fun!
Me too! I went skating last night, and it was super fun. I was impressed with my ability to actually skate, more or less, given that I haven't been on ice skates since I was little. I may actually buy skates now, since they don't go bad, and renting was $8.
Between the knee surgery and the holidays, and the snow, and this, I'm seriously going to lose it. You all heard it here first.

I have to say how impressed I am with the snow-clearing around here. Granted, I'm right in the middle of town, but I won't have to wear snow boots tomorrow at all. Sweet!
OH! And over dinner, the date told me he's recently started watching Buffy. I was like, "YOU HAVE NO IDEA." So that will be fun for me. I couldn't even figure out anything to say because he was all, "I really like Willow's boyfriend" and other early-days things.
Hahaha, yodel. There's also that Inception BRRRRM button, but I don't know where it is just now. The things you can do when you're the only person in the office! Maybe I'll listen to music WITHOUT HEADPHONES. Anarchy.

Ooh! A new Buffy fan. Excellent! I got one of my student interns to watch my Season 1 DVDs last semester. I'm really impatient for her to get to Season 2. But she had school and a life and stuff. Whatever. But she graduated, and starts work for us full-time on Monday. ::rubs hands::
I got to see one of my favorite people in the whole world yesterday, and now he goes back to Australia. I'm having withdrawals. Plus, I had to get out of bed and leave Jon this morning.
Life is not fair.
No snow yet. Tons of wind; it was hard to get the fire started this morning. The SO is running out this morning for eggs and road salt.
