"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

No snow yet. Tons of wind; it was hard to get the fire started this morning. The SO is running out this morning for eggs and road salt.

Ants!

Glad megan's home and wish antlessness for Pix.

Later this morning I'm taking Matilda over to EM's house so they can have a playdate, and I'll take Emmett to see a movie or something.

Jess: The subway is back now.

Yay!

ION, my favorite baby is coming to have lunch with me. And her dad. She's not ready to drive herself.

And a student intern showed up! I may have been a little too excited to see her.

brillig

Just bought my Tracfone. Found a deal with a phone that has good reviews for a basic phone, free double minutes for life, and a free accessories package. All for $20. I keep forgetting that technology marches on, and that what to me is a nifty whiz-bang, gee-whillikers gadget is considered mere training wheels to others. With commensurate price. When the rest of the world is longing for Ferraris, the person who's content with a used Honda can get a good deal.
